Bauman’s Walkoff Gives Adams Central JETS Varsity Victory Over Norwell
A walk-off single led Adams Central JETS Varsity past Norwell 8-7 on Wednesday. The game was tied at seven with Adams Central JETS Varsity batting in the bottom of the seventh when Blake Bauman singled off of L Long, driving in one run.
Adams Central JETS Varsity built a four-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Norwell’s charge. Norwell scored five runs in the failed comeback on a single by G Weybright, a by Q Middleton, a single , a, and a groundout.
