Meet Recap

The Lady Jets had an impressive showing on Saturday at the South Adams Invitational. The Jets placed 4th out of 15 teams competing. Their score of 135 tied Northfield, but the Jets number 6 runner placed higher to break the tie. Grabbing medals for the Jets were freshman Olivia Reynolds in 13th place with a 22:09 and senior Ally Shoaf in 16th place with a time of 22:39. Freshman Avree Armes claimed the Jets 3rd spot in 24:00, followed by sophomore Makenna Call in 24:44. Senior Caitlin Heyerly occupied the team’s 5th place spot in 25:00. Junior Iaroslava Dvadnenko provided the tie-breaking place in a time of 25:32. Sophomore Zoe Egly closed out the Jets scoring with a 25:39, and was followed closely behind by sophomore Kaylee Olmsted in 25:41. The Lady Jets will be in action again this Saturday at the New Haven Classic held at IPFW.
