The Jets finished second at the Randolph Southern Invitational with several runners posting personal best times for the season. Leading the Jets was seventh grader Trace Maller, whose time of 10:54 earned him the 2nd place medal. Carter Steele finished in 11:15 for 8th place while Trevor Schwartz ran 11:30 for 13th. Tyler Ausland continued his strong season with a time of 12:04 for 26th, and Taylor Pickford ran 12:28 for 41st place. Jackson Shoaf finished in 12:39 for 47th while Cody Ausland ran 13:14 for 68th. Also in the varsity race, Logan Clark ran 13:30 for 82nd and Vince Laukhuf ran 13:47 for 87th. In the reserve race, Jack Keller dropped a minute off his personal best time for 8th place while Isaac Faurote finished in 28th at 15:29, and Logan Heiman picked up the 36th position with a time of 16:36. The Jets will compete this Thursday at Bellmont Middle School.
