Jets Takes The Game Over Mississinewa In A Blow-Out Victory, 14-4
Jets easily did away with Mississinewa 14-4 on Monday
In the first inning, Mississinewa got their offense started when Felver singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Jets took the lead for good with seven runs in the third inning. In the third Campbell’s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Jets, Gage Bustos singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, Parker Bates singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Jalen Hammond homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Brandon Bultimier led things off on the rubber for Jets. He surrendered four runs on six hits over three innings, striking out two and walking zero.
Campbell toed the rubber for Mississinewa. He allowed five hits and nine runs over two innings, striking out three. Maddox threw two and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.
Jets scattered 12 hits in the game. Logan Macklin, Bates, and Bustos all managed multiple hits for Jets. Bustos, Bates, and Macklin all had two hits to lead Jets. Jets stole 12 bases during the game as four players stole more than one. Kevin Brown led the way with three.
Mississinewa was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Castanon made the most plays with six.
