Jets Takes 5-3 Victory Over Parkway
Jets beat Parkway 5-3 on Monday.
In the first inning, Jets got their offense started when Brandon Bultimier singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Parkway knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the first inning. An error scored one run for Parkway.
Jets pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Gage Bustos singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, Evan Brown doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Logan Macklin singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Bultimier was credited with the victory for Jets. He surrendered one run on one hit over four innings, striking out two and walking one. Chase Peterson and Jalen Hammond entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Hammond recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Jets.
Noah Riley toed the rubber for Parkway. He surrendered four runs on eight hits over three innings, striking out two. Justan Felver threw four innings in relief.
Jets totaled ten hits in the game. Evan Brown and Kevin Brown each had multiple hits for Jets. Brown and Brown all had two hits to lead Jets.
