Jets sailed to an easy victory over Woodlan 10-3 on Tuesday
In the first inning, Jets got their offense started when an error scored two runs for Jets.
Jets put up three runs in the second inning. Jets big bats were led by Alex Currie, Mason Deroo, and Nick Neuenschwander, all driving in runs in the inning.
Justin Bultemeier led the Jets to victory on the mound. He surrendered zero runs on two hits over three innings, striking out three. Austin Maldeney and Kam Brown entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
#17 took the loss for Woodlan. He lasted two innings, allowing two hits and six runs while striking out three.
Currie, Maldeney, Jaren Hildebrand, Neuenschwander, Ethan Brown, Bultemeier, and Deroo each collected one hit to lead Jets. Jets tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Currie led the way with four.
Woodlan saw the ball well today, racking up six hits in the game. #4 and #18 each managed multiple hits for Woodlan.
