Winning by six points, the Lady Jets cross country team won the ACAC championship on Saturday. Several runners ran personal best times, and seven runners placed in the top twenty. Leading the Jets was eighth grader Gabi Landis who ended her middle school career with a time of 12:36 for fifth place. Seventh grader Madison Gerber ran her best race of the year with a time of 12:39 for seventh place. Addison Gilbert placed ninth with a time of 12:54. Abby Jauregui placed thirteenth with a time of 13:10, a personal best. Brooke Fruechte finished fourteenth with a time of 13:16. Picking up the sixteenth spot for the Jets, Josie Shoaf finished with a time of 13:29. Seventh grader Kylee Frock finished her season with a personal best time of 13:30 for seventeenth place. Other finishers for the Lady Jets included Ella Bluhm at 16:08, a personal best; Brinlee Rinkenberger at 16:21; and Lyra Anderson at 18:01.
